    Hi,

    After updating to 10.3.1.1565 I can't start BlackBerry Protect anymore. It keeps trying to connect and finally fails. My device also isn't visible in the Protect webpage.

    Location services is on and all other stuff works fine.

    I rebooted the Passport but I haven't done a factory reset and security wipe. (kinda last resort)

    Is anyone else having the same issue?

    Good question! I know it worked a few days ago because I checked the protect website and everything was OK. But I didn't check it before updating. So maybe the problem was there before uprating.

    I am also having this problem after a wipe and clean install of 10.3.1.2267 on my Z30. Password keeper too. Did everything ... Sic wipe, downgrade, sachesi, autoloader....

    The BlackBerry Protect issue was already there before I did the update. The problem is solved now.

    Try using BlackBerry Protect in your device when connect to Data through Sim not using WIFI.

    Again try to activate BlackBerry Protect using Sim Data not WIFI once it is activated then connect using WIFI.


    Let me know if this worked, it has always worked for me.

    Using SIM only didn't work. Also tried WiFi no SIM.

    Still getting a can't connect to BlackBerry ID in password keeper and Protect just gives a spinning circle and then shuts off. Connect to BB World and BBM works.

    Strange, my wife left her z10 at the grocery store on Saturday. Used BlackBerry protect to locate the device.

    Partly solved. Yesterday I tried to delete the phone on protect.blackberry.com and it wouldn't let me. Today when I checked it said my Z30 was archived (but of course no way to unarchive it). But at least I could delete it. Once that was done I could connect.

    Still no cloud services with Password Keeper.

    Everything is working now. I still had a problem with Password Keeper connecting to the cloud but this is working as of yesterday.

    However I did lose my Password Keeper cloud backup, and I assume it is because I deleted my device on protect.blackberry.com.

    Good thing I had another backup!
