    Using BlackBerry Passport on AT&T in the US. I have yet to be able to get connected to the BlackBerry Protect service and it is driving me nuts. When I click to turn on it will show a spinning circle next to the on button that lasts for about 5 minutes. Then a message will popup that says "Blackberry Protect Unavailable. Unable to connect to the BlackBerry Protect service. Please try again later."

    I have a BlackBerry ID and am logged into it. I've tried turning phone off, removing sim, turning on phone with wifi and attempting to connect. Still nothing.

    Any help would be great as it's a serious security disadvantage to other phones not having this feature.

    so in your settings you toggle it on and it won't connect? have you tried the website?

    Yep. So to show what I see I'll attach first what the settings show when I toggle it on and then after about two minutes later the message I receive. I can log into the website fine, but it says I have no connected devices.

    May I ask you if your BBM works, or searching for System Update works ?

    Yep. Use bbm all the time. System updates work fine. Recently received the update to 10.3.1 and I was hoping for that to resolve the issue but negative.

    Sadly I can't tell where is the problem coming from.

    I would suggest you to fully wipe your phone with s.i.c and then flash latest 10.3.1.2582 (or leaked 10.3.2 if you are curious) using an Autoloader.

    This will erase your entire data and I don't recommend you restoring a backup since it can bring back some bugs. If you have let's say so pictures or music, just extract them and copy back them after wiping.

    Try deleting the device from BlackBerry Protect using the website. Then turn it off on your Passport and reboot the phone. Turn it back on, reconnect, and try again.

    BlackBerryaholic by choice.
