    When I open Blackberry Protect in Settings I get this... is that a known issue and how can I solve it?

    Please check your BlackBerry ID and sign in. I don't think there is any issue with this.

    GO to blackberry protect website delete blackberry protect account ....from mobile go to setting /about/ drop down menu select network and register for blackberry... now go to settings /blackberry protect and push the button On your problem will be resolved .....I Had the same problem and its Resolved by applying the above steps....

    Don't delete BlackBerry account unless you know what you are doing. There's been several post of users that deleted BlackBerry account and bricked their phone because BB protect was activated on the phone.
