First of all the cb app hasn't been updated for the passport. Secondly there is no ALT key on the Passport.

I think Alt key is done by swiping down the keyboard.

So what is the Alt item shown in the CrackBerry application?

Those are for the ones using the BlackBerry Q10. Like he said it hasn't been optimized for the passport.

As the OP said, the CB app hasn't been optimised for the Passport. That Alt works on the other BlackBerry 10 devices.

Great, thanks for the clarification.

Any idea when Crackberry will be optimised for the Passport ?

Apologies for sounding snippy but this really should have been addressed before launch....its akin to Microsoft Surface pro 3 not being able to run Windows 8.1 properly.....

Only if you believe BlackBerry publishes the app.
That's quite the stretch there. Comparing a manufacturers hard ware working with ist OS to another manufacturer hardware working with a third party app.

Maybe I guess...and if it were any other app but this one I would agree more.. but the app is named "Crackberry" with complete threads and content and forums dedicated to the very device that it doesn't run well on....no one else see the irony? My point being that us BlackBerry users get bashed enough, seems silly that it's own fan site can't run on it...

I understand Deadmunny and wonder too how a flagship publicised as a turn around device can be ignored by Crackberry UI.
I suppose it's al lot of work to optimise an app like Crackberry but it's difficult to justify that lack of reaction : we keep on talking about Passport's momentum, how Blackberry should act to gain some traction from it and THE community forum acts like it never came on the market...
At least if we knew it would take some weeks and be Passport compatible in a certain date, but no one seems annoyed by that situation.... weirdly.
