I've spend 4 hours today going to all the AT&T stores around my town looking for the Passport and, nothing!!! None store has it and in the website is already sold out!!! Also on Bestbuy's website.
Has it been a success or is this a trick???

Good for BlackBerry and ATT maybe. Could be a very conservative sales approach. Let us hope more become available soon.

If you were Michael Blair on Seeking Alpha,I would have 2nd thoughts ,but maybe tomorrow you should do the other 1/2 of town ,just to know for sure,,Just kidding,great to hear that ,but they only had a couple per store, as has been mentioned here,in a couple of other threads,lol

I would ask the stores whether they had any to begin with and, if so, how many. The website being sold out surprises me, though. I wonder how large a production run AT&T had produced of its speciality version of the Passport? But at any rate, BlackBerry wants these sales to go through, so I hope all concerned get their acts in order so that minimal revenue is spilt.

In the entire Los Angeles and Orange County area, only one store has the Passport in stock. By night fall the one of the largest metropolitan area in the US will be sold out.

I believe, compared to Authorized AT&T dealer.

In other words: Company Store = Corporate Store VS Authorized Store.

In Palo Alto store, the guy just told me that they got the display Passport, but nothing on stock, and it is so weird that in any store from San Jose to san Francisco they don't have it.
Mmmhhh... I don't really think it is sold out, just no stocked.

Buying terms should be similar, it's a matter of preference, experience wise.
I find myself preferring online ordering then dealing with these I-sheeps and Android fan boys recently...

In the Los Angeles and Orange County region, as of yesterday morning, 12-15 stores had them in stock. Now down to 1 store. So they are selling out, but seems stock was low to begin with. But being sold out Online, is a different story.

It takes 4-6 weeks to produce one - pp not made at foxconn... So we will see when att ramps up again..

This is exactly what I was thinking... But it's better to underestimate how many they will sell instead of over estimating like they did with the Q10 and Z10.

I live in Virginia Beach. Pretty big city. On the 20th at 12:03 am. There was only one store that had the PP in stock. I confirmed this when stores opened. And that store only had one in stock. The also were/are the only place with a demo model. I went there today and got to play with it. beautiful phone. Ordered it and hopefully have it on Tuesday...

Well no sure if the Passport is selling well as AT&T could have just ordered 100 Passports.
