Please don't judge me with my Screen Protector. There was and is no Screen Protector (Matt) available in this County, so I decided to customize one for my BlackBerry. That's why there are small Bubbles on the side.

There are some decent cases out there for the non-SE but it kinda ducks that the Passport has 3 distinct shapes that are mostly incompatible.

FWIW I have the Seidio case with holster. I gotta keep it on the hip!

I expect to receive mine PP SE this week. I have also ordered the original flip case.

I wonder how it feel in the hands to work with such flip cover cases (original or nillkin), especially compared with the device alone.

The OEM flip case doesn't add much bulk. I got one free with my SE so I use it when I'm on the job and it goes into the inside pocket in my safety vest.

I use the Stulgut book type flip for around home and office. Imho it looks nicer then the OEM. It does add a tad more bulk than the OEM but Imho it is classier.

Seido belt clip holster for casual and around town. I prefer a cover when traveling 'cause I always think it's easier to grip and less likely to get dropped than naked (gate personal and TSA seem good at fumbling with phones).

The OEM feels a bit sharp edged compare to the Stulgut. I prefer naked in hand but like the little extra protection of the flip cases when I slide the SE into a attach case or safety vest pocket. Also when I put the phone down on the table or counter, I like the little extra padding of the case versus naked.

Your Flip Case doesn't have a cut-out for the LED indicator? Or am I missing that? I do think the precise cutouts for the camera and LED flash are very sharp!

Thanks for sharing but clear plastic cases have always been prone to break easily in my experience. I do think they look sharp though.

Have had my clear plastic case since soon after the SE release. So far no issue or sign of deterioration.

Have been using the leather flex shell for about 5 months and so far no issues. It has a kick stand that I don't really use unless I want to watch a video on the pp while working on other things.

As a new Passport Silver Edition owner, I've been on the search for a really legitimate and decent case that's going to provide decent protection without completely destroying the form factor of the device making it too bulky. What are the best case solutions you all have found?

    I just bought this one, http://www.amazon.com/StilGut-UltraSlim-Genuine-BlackBerry-Passport/dp/B0142NTIIU?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui _detailpage_o00_s00

Just ordered a PPSE too, so cannot give much of a review of it as a daily driver, but I do have one for my Nexus 6, and it is awesome.Slim and covers everything.

OK so I'm a diehard hip holster guy. I bought the Seidio Surface holster/case combo along with my Passport. But I don't like the lack of screen protection. So I figured, why not try a couple flip cases and see if they'll fit the holster?

    Nillkin:

    Stilgut:

The Nillkin is a perfect fit for the holster. The Stilgut still works, but I have to make sure it's all the way in and the clip locks down. The Stilgut has a magnet and is better leather. I'll probably just go back and forth between the two.

I now have my Passport Silver Edition, along with the flex shell case. My first impressions are, unfortunately, not very good. While minimalist, it does not seem to offer much in the way of protection. I was hoping the corner bumpers would be a little bit thicker, so that my hands would curve inwards a little bit. That was a problem I had with the Dreamcast controller, it was too straight so gaming for long periods of time would cause my wrists to hurt, I did not have this problem as much on the PS2 controller. I am eyeing the Seidio Red case to complement my UKarbon Skin that I've ordered. I've got a red Ukarbon skin coming in, but that doesn't cover everything, so the part that the red doesn't cover will be covered with a carbon black skin from Skinomi. I don't care how big the device is, personally, I think that the bigger the device, the better.

Unrelated to the thread, the one thing that I would definitely like, is a way to permanently affix an extended battery to this device, but not in a way that looks like something out of Frankenstein. That's the only downgrade that I have coming from my Q10 with the 4400mAh battery. 3450mAh is nothing to sneeze at, but the extra thickness of the Q10 gave me something to wrap my hands around.

I use a leather pouch (you can see it in the "I got my Passport" thread) and it's very practical for me. The only part that is not protected in case of a drop is the top, I think the leather would be able to absorb the impacts all around as it's fairly thick. The phone comes out quickly and if I need to check the time I can pull it out just a bit and press the power button.

I use the original BlackBerry Passport SE flipcase. It has a great design and I find it being premium quality. It makes the phone bulkier but it looks great.
I didn't want to use any case but I drop it too many times.
Just took it of, I missed my Passport being naked. Such a great design....

Do you find the SE flip case slippery at all? That was always my gripe with both the official BlackBerry Passport SE leather flip and flex cases.

In my opinion if you're going to cover such a phone made out of metal you should only do so with leather else it just makes the entire package cheap!!!

Leather Pocket Case for Blackberry Passport Silver Edition Flatar Black | eBay

Pros: protects the whole device, you can charge the phone while its in the case, has a hole to see the notification led,
you use the phone naked so you enjoy your device, the peripheral tying protects from drops, looks very luxurious

Cons: Rather expensive, you have to take it out in order to use your phone

I got a great leather case, holster type, similar to the Porsche Design one I have, also similar to the original one that came with the 9900. It even has the magnet to make the device sleep. Go to Ali Express site and look around. Very cheap and order 2 or 3 different ones and see which one suits you.

I use a holster from Sikai Cases. I initially bought it for my OG passport. After selling the OG and buying a PPSE, I realised that the SE fits very well and responds to the magnet positions in the holster as well.
