So finally, my phone came in and I started downloading all the things I planned on having.

I fully charged the phone, it reads 100%. When I look under battery device monitor, it says 100%, remaining time: 6 hours.

Is there something I'm missing there, does the battery have to sit the few first charges or?

Anyways will be writing a review about what I think of the phone in a day or two!

    EDIT:

Another question, how do I make it so certain games aren't using data while I'm playing so I can skip the ads that pop up? I know on my iphone 6 plus there was a setting to turn off what app uses cellular data and what not.

The battery monitor suggests how long is left based on how it's being used at that time. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not sure about the 2nd question but am also interested.

It takes a day or so for the battery and software to break in. Afterward it won't or shouldn't be showing that little of battery life anymore

Not sure but perhaps you can change some apps on how often it synchronizes with their servers...

The game 1010 for example shows ads at the top always, which I want to turn off so it doesn't use my data for no reason when I'm trying to play a game

If you're downloading all sorts of things, then obviously you're going to burn through the battery. That's why it was suggesting only 6 hours right after you finished that.

The thing about the battery settling for a few days is a complete myth. Maybe an hour or two while your accounts sync up, but a few days is utter rubbish.

How is possible that you don't touch it, the monitor writes 6.4% consumption for the display.

This is what my battery life shows after the last (I think) big update when fully charged. I already set all my apps not to run in the background and I use all sorts of battery saving measures. I stopped using Hotspot function, e.g.

Sometimes when I'm charging my phone and I start the battery monitor, it skips from 90% to 100% battery life. if I remove the cable and put it back in, it will start charging again. If not, I get horrible battery life. It also helps to not take the cable out immediately after reaching 100%. Let's call them 'kinderziektes', but working around them should help.
