    Workaround: turn your device face down and back up. It seems an issue where the device does not properly recognise it is "in the open" and so the backlight doesn't turn on.

    Flipping always turns it back on for me.

    No idea what version number it will be.
    Should be out within the month or so. But don't quote me

    I'm on the 10.6.2.2204 os. The "Screen goes dark in the sun" bug is the only one I'm suffering from.
