    Recently experienced a software crash causing my device to remain on the boot screen where the os loads up to 100%..

    screen remains active

    but it never reaches the home screen, just the bb logo and completed loading bar around the logo

    tons of critical information i can't afford to loose, no backup

    Ive tried several things but not satisfied with results

    Is anyone aware of how a Passport is booted into safe mode?

    Press and hold the volume up and down keys until it reboots itself. Try that.

    Does BlackBerry link detect your phone while it's in this state? If so, do a backup.

    Same Problem Tried all Possible things
    1. Press Power for 10 Sec
    2. Volume UP + Down
    3. Power Volume Down
    Trying to connect to BB Link

    But no solution
    Any one with same Problem
    Any other way to boot Passport

    Its actually all three (power, vol up and vol down for 30 seconds or until you see the word blackberry for the second time and then its ok to release. If this doesnt work, I suggest you read up on installing a blitz package. U wont lose any files etc. Just DONT install an autoloader or you will wipe all files

    I don't think there is a safe mode like a windows computer. You could try using an autoloader which will wipe the phone or a fresh install from a back up.
