Great looking device, just bought two more black ones for my brother and a client or I would have went off and bought the red one. Oh well, maybe I will find a used one on the CB site in the distant future.

I have waited to comment on the Red until I saw pics..that being said likely needs to be seen in hand to make a true judgement.

I doubt I will see one in my hand and now I have seen pics...for me the Passport stands out enough as it is, with the Red it screams "Look at me!". While that does sound condescending to those who do like the Red, I hope that you don't take it that way. Its just not for me.

I use the analogy of two types of cars from the 50's. There was the "Doctors Car" the somewhat understated Buick Roadmaster, then there was the flashy Cadillac for the guy who want to make a statement. Both cars are basically the same but present an entire different presentation which fits the personality of the driver.

Me I have two 1954 Buick Roadmasters...and a plain black Passport with a solid black screen as a wallpaper.

It is what it is I guess :shrug:
