This is not a problem with only Passport but all the BB10 devices. Since Blackberry cannot solve their stability problems I think they are pretty much obliged to add silent reboot in their OS. Silent reboot means the BB10 stores you SIM PIN and reenters itself when the phone reboots due to a crash.

It's very annoying to miss calls because of this.

Have to disagree with you here. I've owned every bb10 device except for Z3 and none of the others have shown any signs of this issue. The Z10 rebooting and no mobile connection is a known issue and the passport is showing signs of same. Same as the camera issues on Q5 which are not at all common on any of the rest. I've been reading around the blogs that the rebooting issues is more prevalent of earlier builds also.

Interesting, I have had a Z10 for two years and never experienced a reboot until yesterday. Happened as my phone was at 70% battery and was sitting on a table by itself. Noticed the blue loading progress bar.

Since then my battery has lasted a 18 hours when I usually only get 6. I hope it reboots itself more often.
