We can buy in the US unlocked and have it shipped here via Myshoppingbox. Did it several times when I bought gadgets not released here. It's pretty cheap $5-8 per pound depends on it's category. Still hoping for Globe to release it since I'll be recontracting this Nov otherwise might just buy the unlocked one.

Minimum I saw with like 100 insurance mail priority was like 115 cdn or so.

I'm sure other ways are more especially with the declared value. Going to Also have to pay duty / customs which could be overcharged.

Someone said best cheApest way would be through a balakbAyAn box lol just might take a while

I am one of the folks who are holding out for a new high-end, all-touch (probably 5.5") BB10 device. But I must admit, the more I read about the passport, the more i am intrigued. I hope it becomes available soon in Globe stores so we can play around with it. I'm very interested with the keyboard.

I could be wrong but I am under the impression Kimstore is a supplier / reseller for blackberry like a lot of the brands that are here.

Meaning that they are good to sell it and that they have complied with customs regulations etc etc.

Someone correct me though as I am making some assumptions but I believe it's a bit safer than buying from someone in St Francis or Greenhills in a stall

I think all Kimstore items are NTC certified so the local Blackberry Repair shop will be able to honor it. My friend bought a Q10 there and it has the NTC sticker. As long as you have the receipt, the repair center in Makati should be able to honor the warranty.

Hi, my passport is running at 10-12 hour battery on a full charge. Bought in less than a week now. Is this normal? I will it improve or do I need to tweak something in the settings? My OS is 10.3.0.908 btw....

Blackberry Passport is now 30,190.00 at Widget City.

I don't know if they will stock it as if you go into their stores you get mixed answers of that blackberry is no longer
in the smartphone market (lol) or that they are not in the Philippines anymore.

There is no information at this point with Globe.

Also walk around Megamall. Most stores have no blackberries. I think in that cyberzone area I saw 3 stores and yesterday one of them DID have a passport I was shocked.

Of course they wanted 46k for it

I got mine at kimstore last week so far it's a flawless unit paid 32500 was supposed to get it at widget city for just over 30k but they changed price while the guy was headed to deliver to me so I told em to screw off

I read kimstore is probably the best of the worst.

I would wait till nov 25 now as there's some release so the price might come down a bit.
