Why is there only 3 rows of keys!?? Not only does it look weird but I feel like it'll be impossible to hold and type with with that extremely wide form factor!! Looks very unique but i dunno.. looks like they were trying too hard to maximize screen real estate on a QWERTY

Supposedly it's extremely light so that could offset balace issues, also the phone is wider which would make easier to type with two hands.

I think philosophy of the keyboard is leaving in only the essentials to increase screen size.

Blackberry passport is not only unique but innovative. I love the idea of just 3 row keypad and I just can't wait to get one myself.

I don't see any innovation in the blackberry classic it's simply a blackberry OS 10 installed on a blackberry 9900. For me I see the passport sells way more than the classic. Do u really think people don't want change. I do really hope Chen knows what he doing.

Actually Chen expects Q20 to sell more, that's why he passed the inventory risk to Foxconn, he even admitted to it during shareholders meeting. Not to mention, he is focusing on enterprise so he wants a reliable safe designed phone.

Passport is being made by BlackBerry, my only concern is quality control because of past performance.

BlackBerry passport? I was hoping an improved Z10 comes along with the announcement. Been wanting so much a Z10, though Z30 is a bigger version of it.

Can BlackBerry do something about Z10 battery for instance? Or perhaps a slimmer version of Z3?

Probably not. Just get one of those large external batteries and upgrade to a higher OS version that gives greater battery.

This is the phone I've been waiting for. I just hope we don't have to wait too long after its unveiling until it's for sale at shopblackberry.com.

It has 3 rows because more can fit via wide template design. Dude time to get over it wait until it's in hand before worrying.

This is going to be a big surprise hit with enterprise.

I wonder if they'll be able to implement double screens...
