Not sure about this. Looks too big to be held comfortably in the hand.

If it's the same port for both, if I got it right , it mast be the USB one otherwise we won't be able to charge the phone with another charger than the BlackBerry !! Is it like that or there is something I can't see ?

AnandTech | Hands on with the Analogix SlimPort microUSB to HDMI and VGA adapters

Slimport itself draws no additional power and requires no charging cable, although you can plug a cable into the adapter to charge the phone while it's displaying something.

Very interesting phone, I like it. Being a long suffering Sprint customer I'd wager if they get either this or the Classic model it won't be until Christmas time at the earliest. Of course if the T-Mo/Sprint deal happens and the T-Mo CEO is at the top they'll likely not carry BlackBerry at all, but that's another subject.

When I saw the first pics of the Q10 I thought "what is this? No trackpad etc" Ugly!. But I didnt no how BB10 worked. Now I do and I understand the concept of the Q10 and it is good. Now we see the passport with a row on the keyboard less. We do not know how the device works and we havent seen in in reality. Ones you have it in your hands and know how is works then you will say: this is great!

Again at least BlackBerry is making an innovating product and that is not common in the mobile market. We havent seen iPhone make a revolution device the last couple of years!!

Wish they kept with the traditional Blackberry removable battery. Hate the tethered recharge time.

This is a purely personal reaction but that phone is fugly. I'm not sure whether it is so fugly that it makes it "so fugly, that it's gorgeous" or that "it is just plain fugly" but I can't stop staring.

I think it has potential. Shows that they are thinking "outside the box". This is what BlackBerry needs to do. What point is there for them to produce another 4-5" inch me-too device like Amazon just did? The amazon phone won't disrupt the market.

I was among the many who were horrified at the early images of this device, and was among the "what were they thinking" camp.

Now, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I actually want one.

I have a feeling the Passport is going to be popular with professionals. The big screen, thin dimensions, and capacitive-touch keyboard may be just the things for a lot of consumers.

There's always the battery-bundles, which carry the advantage of not having to power down the phone.
