Both this gold and black (spotted in middle East) would actually look proper if the frets were the exact same coating/color as the stainless steel frame

It's an original guys it's got Arabic on the letters. This is only got from dubai same for ur q10 also it comes with Arabic on the letters.

There are plenty of company's selling custom gold edition phones.

Because the keyboard frets are not also gold i am inclined to think this is an aftermarket modification rather than an official gold passport by blackberry themselves like the gold and white Q10:
