I wonder if anyone else have the issue that the passport charger really gets more hot compare to z or q charger?

My phone charges fine and no problems whatsoever but it's just very hot.
It also cools down very quickly when I take it out of the wall socket.

Are you using the phone while it's charging? It's normal for it to be mild warm if so.

Could you have by chance plugged the charger into an outlet that is on a dimmer? That will cook 'em, as they try to pull the current they need from a "dimmed" outlet, and they will get hot, and then you will hear a little "pop" as the capacitor(s) let go....

What is the output on the charger? I would imagine it is pretty high for that big battery in the Passport. Pushing more power will cause more heat.
