    I have been trying to get my Blend working for a few days now. First it would not connect at all, but we (BES Administrator and I) realised the Blend option was not active on the BES server.

    The problem I have now is that I cannot access the Work data on the phone, i.e emails, calendar, files and contacts. Keep getting the "Work Data is blocked by IT Policy" error.

    P.S I have Blackberry Passport, and IT Admin assures me Blend option is active.

    Is there some sort of Service Book update required on the BB Passport? Or any other reset process?

    Any help would be great.

    We had the same issue. After installing the latest BES Update REBOOT the BES server and after the reboot, resent the policy to the device. This will fix your problem.

    The reboot is the trick....

    Server apparently rebooted, but still I get the same error message. is there something that needs to be done on the handheld? A service book refresh or something? And if so, how does one do that?

    Server rebooted and IT Policies resent to device and all works well now.
