In the past 10 months, I've gone from Passport to Classic. Then I went to Nokia 735 to Note 4. Then Nokia 640XL to Nexus6....I just ordered a White Passport. I have no brand loyalty.

Not enough marketing since the launch of the new OS. When people think BlackBerry the first thing they could remember is the old days of BBOS 7.

Indeed! Money problem aside (IF that's really the problem, which I no longer believe so), it's odd and dare I even say, stupid.

I just bought the Passport because I needed a physical keyboard. I am loving the ability to type with fewer mistakes and it definitely snappier than my Z10 but not sure all that will move me from my opinion that the Z is the best but we shall see :-)

That's funny. I've been having the Passport for 5 months and have just bought the Z10 only two days ago. After using it non stop, now I'm pretty confident to type faster and flawlessly on my Z10. In fact, I'm planning to write my short stories there. Not saying Passport is bad, far from it. It's still a beast, but it's a chore for typing on the long run with it. And I type a LOT every day.

Well I just ordered my Passport last night. Found one for $420 on Amazon. I am extremely happy with my Z30 and so surprised that it is a 2 year old device. Then again, the Passport is now a 1 year old device as well. I came back to Blackberry originally because of the Passport. I just couldn't pony up $700. Then I saw the Z30 for $225 last fall, I could not resist. I guess I will swap Sim cards as needed. I bought the Passport mostly because the screen on Z30 was so hard to read in the Florida sun when I am at job sites. And the camera disappointed when I really needed it. My wife's Q10 seems to be more reliable for some reason. But that's about it. And I always wanted the Passport of course.
The things that I do love about my Z30 are possibly better on the Passport. Battery life, speakers for hands free calls, call clarity and better antenna. I need my phone to be a great phone which was surprisingly difficult to find with today's devices. The only thing I feel I give up with a Passport is the aspect ratio.

I am extremely happy because I will now have purchased (2) unlocked devices for a grand total of $645. And the fact that I am able to use it on other networks like Cricket, practically pays for itself when I consider the cost of both my wife's and my own service. I used to pay $165 after taxes with Sprint. I now pay $90 with even better reception where I live. $75 a month savings pays for all 3 phones technically. Her Q10 was $180 during the holiday.

Well I can't wait to get my hands on this monster of a phone.

Hope it is as good for you as it is for me - let us know how you get on with it.

And.... good news too re: your monthly mobile phone bill - most things are much cheaper in the US than in the UK, but definitely not mobile phone charges!

This is right on. Z30 is fantastic BUT the screen brightness is awful. That plus the need for a physical keyboard made me order the Passport SE. And now I have the best device by far. Imo and for my needs at least.
