Been a while since I used BB10. Can you clear the app's cache and data, as you can on Android? If so try that.

Do a soft reset of your phone. Press and hold the UP and DN Volume buttons at the same time. Hold it until the phone display turns black and reboots itself.

Have you ever login your bbid on android or ios devices? If so, you can never use that id to login bbm on bb10 device anymore. I used to login bbm on an android phone, and now I registered a new ID in order to use bbm on passport again.

If you do this make sure you have deleted your device from the old ID or you may end up with a paperweight!

Hi friends. I have a new Passport and trying to setup BBID, but after that my BBM could not be open, said "Temporary Server Error". Yes I have also BBM installed on BB Aurora with same BBID migrate from Z30.

I want to setup BBM on my new passport. How to delete the BBID, so that I can setting up new BBID with different email address? any suggestions please

Unfortunately when a BBM account is used on Android (or iOS too I believe) it can no longer be used on BB10. You'll need to start a new BBM account.

They aren't closing. They gave consumer BBM control to Emtek. They are still responsible for consumer BBM on BB10. Due to the separation, there is no more interchange between BB10 and Android BBM. You need to create a new ID if you want to use both. It sucks, but it is what it is.

I haven't heard any news of BBM closing.
