Who of the passport owners would switch to an android passport if it was perfected by BlackBerry?

I sold my passport for 250 usd and bought myself an unlocked priv ,

The Passport usability is going to become quite unusable , since most apps are only being updated to cater for MM and lollypop ,

Kitbat is still quite common, jellybean is really outdated.

    Hence the switch .

Interested to hear comments on the above.

I wouldn't. As a general rule I don't like switching phones, when I buy one is because I want to keep it forever. A Passport running Android would definitely be better but somehow it wouldn't be the same thing and I'd rather use my Samsung.

If that were the case anyway, I don't think it would be necessary to switch device. Maybe they could release an update or a file to download to install Android over BlackBerry os?

What about those of us who would switch to a Windows Priv or an Apple Z30?

I'd consider one, especially if BlackBerry officially says BlackBerry 10 is no more.

The keyboard on a BlackBerry is still my number one thing, so if it's the best keyboard out there in the future, then I'll have to get used to Android the same way I got used to BlackBerry 10 from OS 7.

Until I went three weeks without my passport I would have said no! But now I've realised how limited bb10 is, so yes unfortunately I would go passport Android.

Other than App gap, to you, what makes BlackBerry 10 limited?

Yes it's the app gap, and the apps we do have aren't all great. Love the keyboard and messaging, and how you go between apps on bb10 but mostly like most users I use apps on my phone.
Facebook now use browser miss the hub integration!
    LinkedIn app very poor
Whatsapp... soon to go so limited msging!
BBM don't know anyone on it!
    Snapchat,N/A, I don't use but many do
Instagram no bb10 app only workaround tho I don't do Instagram either
Twitter, this app OK, but the IOS version has more features.

Yes it makes calls, yes I can e mail and text, perhaps not as smoothly but I'm not sure the lack of apps is worth sacrificing just to e mail a second quicker than an iphone.

The old Facebook app with hub integration still works, Igrann is good for Instagram, and Blaq is great for Twitter.
I can do fare more than email and text with my Passport : listening to music, GPS, browsing, social networks...
