BlackBerry is out of stock for the Passport SE (US anyway).... and aftermarket pricings are going up - and many of those don't carry a warranty. I doubt the situation will improve by the end of the month.

I barely got a hold of one myself! BlackBerry was out of stock. I had to order mine through Amazon. No warrenty for my NEW...

Ah I checked when you (@dunt) said so. Serious sudden price jump for the phone ($+300). Same way like the Classic from a while. I had to wait for months to pick up the classic for what I think is a good price.

I personally don't want one, satisfied with my classic in terms of BB10. if I want one though, I'll go for the Black variant, fav color and all. Seems to be trending at $170-180 for months now so pretty reasonable.

Also much of the "surplus" stock that you can find online for devices like the Classic and PRIV, is a result of retailer or carriers that have liquidated inventory to 3rd party discount sellers. As the Passport SE was never sold by anyone but BlackBerry... not sure we will see much inventory making it's way into the 3rd party selling pipeline.

But yes the original and AT&T variants... those should be around, even after BlackBerry runs out of inventory.

Right on all counts, the full bb version has dried up. If you wanted it new your late to the game. In a few months maybe the used prices will fall. Amazons used prices have gone up almost 100 bucks

Probably 5" is too large for me... but I'll support as long as it runs BB10 (or BB11...whatever).
And I'm fine with less than 4000mAh if the battery is replaceable.
Ah, and one more - make it IP67.

You could have a Passport Gold... and it wouldn't buy you a car.

Just saying the SE was sold via limited channels and thus you won't see the aftermarket sales that most BlackBerries do. So the opportunity to buy a new one is going to be limited now that BlackBerry isn't selling them. Now what someone will pay for 2-1/2 year old technology is anyone's guess.... but we aren't talking art or wines here.
