And I was excited I could finally get a Passport. What will I do now without the car?

"The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money."

They are harming no one with their hijinks. But those such as you will dictate to them how to spend their money. Where will that end?

Will you let him tell you how to spend your money? It's not a matter of how much either.

Not realistic? Care to drop your phone out of a fast moving car?

    Posted via CB10
So a passenger and driver will have their windows open and be fiddling with phones at 200 kph much less drop them from the car. Probably doesn't happen often.

Nah, nothing to do with socialism. Just to do with clowns wasting things like ignorant dooshbags. I also didn't 'dictate' anything. You're completely overacting. Almost like a canned response. As though you are just waiting to attack somebody. LOL

The Passport landed on a corner and cartwheeled and even jumped. Let this be a lesson to anyone who might toss their phone out the window of a speeding Lambroguini. Get a good case.

Colossal waste of money (spent on smartphones) do these hotshots not have anything better to do? Sorry for the rant but god I hate to see waste like this... If these guys want to be on youtube so badly why not drive around Dubai making videos of the area on the smartphones and post those? I'd watch that.

im surprised that the Lamborghini didn't break down before end of the testing, since the liability on them is an issue
Reliability hasn't been an issue for Lamborghini's since Audi took over before the introduction of the Gallardo and Murcielago. Even Diablo's towards the end of their production run were known to be pretty solid.

I'm sure all the videos of people purposely trying to bend iPhones was condemned as idiotic as well, right? No one here praised those videos at all. I'm sure plenty questioned the validity of such a demonstration and debated the scientific basis of those tests.

Added a VERY well endowed young lady in a low cut tank top and that video's views will skyrocket. And....lol....most people won't be talking about the phones.

The Gallardo is a great car. The 5.2L V10 is basically the same as the motor in the Audi R8, S6, and S8. Maintenance isn't much more expensive than other high end cars like BMW M-cars and AMG Mercedes. Make sure to get a 6-speed manual car. Not E-Gear. E-gear is ridiculously expensive to repair.

By the book, oil changes every 7.5k miles. Fuel filter, spark plugs, trans and dif fluid every 15k miles. Air filter and brake fluid once a year. Coolant flush every 25k I think? But many of those items, with the sort of mileage a Gallardo sees, it's best to just change them yearly. Better too early than too late.

Much of that stuff you can do yourself if you're used to working on cars. It's a lot cheaper that way. If you have to get it done at a shop, private Lambo specialists will be cheaper than a dealership. Oil changes can run you around $300-$400 15k mile service about $1500. Most shops will roll those things together, throw in the brake fluid and coolant flush, and just do an Annual Service. Considering most people rarely put over 5k miles a year on these cars.

The expensive service is the clutch. It'll run you about $5k. You want to get an '06 or later car, with the Revision E clutch. The pre-'06 clutches could go out super prematurely. A Rev E clutch should go 20k miles easy.

In the end, you'll spend about as much on tires, as you will on scheduled maintenance. These motors don't need valve adjusting or timing belts or anything like that. That's all old Ferrari and old Lambo problems.

The BlackBerry Passport weight is the cause of its demise. Even from a lower place, its momentum may cause it to be damaged much more severe than other lighter phones, like the iPhone 6 for example.

How are your feelings toward an Audi R8? Manual instead of that R-tronic, whatever it is?

As far as I know, mechanically, the V10 R8 and Gallardo are nearly identical. I've never driven one. I personally really like the looks of the R8 though.

The AND of the Audi makes it just a bit better I think.
