I don't have a car that will go that fast and I'm not planning on throwing my phone out the window if I did.

FWIW the test was fun but by no means scientific. The way the phone first hits the ground is way more important than which phone is being tested. If the test was performed 5 times I'm sure each phone would win at least once.

    T-Mobile  SQW100-1 Passport running Autoloaded 10.3.1.2072.

The square corners on the passport will play at a disvantage in this test. The square corners will make it grab the road, as you can see in the video, the passport spins like crazy. The iphone is very light, slippery and it's curved edges help it going down the road.

Not a totally meaning test... I like to ride a bike, it's not impossible that the phone falls off your pocket...

Poor Passport, the camera is fu.. anyway, so it doesn't make it any worse if it's not work. But agree it should test 3 times for better fair results.

Have to watch it again but it seems on the passport they slam it down versus the other two they toss it out more like letting go.. Should be same for all three, and hold out of window and let the wind take it at 200km/h.

Was holding my breath before the test of BlackBerry Passport, but was disappointed as it didn't fare well.

I think they should complain. There was a definite lag when starting the car. LOL

It's not like people will say "I'm not getting the Passport now that it failed the drop from a car at 120km/hr.

That was hard to watch. The Passport took the worse tumble by far. It looked like it cartwheeled 100 times on the asphalt.

The most surprising thing to me is that the iPhone 6 survived the test and was able to power up, produce a display, and run apps afterwards. If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't believe it.

Iphone 6 is very light and those rounded corners and slippery aluminum finish does help the phone to "glide" over the surface instead. The passport with square corners did grab a lot more with the tarmac's surface, you can see it spining a lot

That's impossible... from the comments I've read on hear I'm fairly certain nothing less than a nuclear explosion could harm a Passport.

Passport is more heavy than the two phones so it seems to damage more. Imaging the person with light weight can jump higher than the heavy person.
