Nice! 1440x1440 comes down to exactly Full HD on a screen with that form factor.

    Do the math!

Not really happy about the new keyboard design though. They should have kept the Q10 design, but just slightly bigger.

    Don't fix what ain't broken!

Guys, relax, go to the link and read the short article. Their inside information clearly says that this is a dev device and the keyboard is not final as BlackBerry is supposedly looking at a new design for the keyboard not similar to the Q10

not to put crackberry down, but why does it seem like n4bb get to BB news much faster these days?
The overall look and feel on CB is by far better from the website to the app, I get feeds from multiple tech sites, but I only ever come to one website and use one app and that's CB!

I actually had high hopes for the Windemere/Q30, but then I saw this. My faith in BlackBerry has died a little. I hope this doesn't actually go into production.

Which it won't, being a dev device (as has been stated previously).

I understand its a developer device. But as we all know the Z10 & Q10 aren't too different in design compared to their dev counterparts. So it isn't wrong to assume that whatever device this becomes, should it even go into production, won't look too different.

The Dev Alpha A, the original London device, looked completely different from the finished Z10. It looked more like a mini PlayBook then the Z10. But yes, the Dev Alpha B and C were essentially a Z10 and a Q10 in a big bulky case. These were also released later in the development stage and I believe the Dev Alpha C was a complete afterthought.

The worst thing a company can do is give developers high performance hardware. You end up with slow, resource hungry apps.
I completely agree, they should just use the same specs in the Q5 or Z10 just so those devs to make a resource hungry app. Since this one (rumoured) specs is light years a head of the current BB10 phones which will most likely be the majority,

Another thing, cut it out with the square screens. I have a Q10 and would love a Z30 sized phone with a keyboard. Maybe a bit wider so those 3 rows of keys can fit. I personally think that would would be a hit for a number of reasons.
    1. Bigger screen the better now a days (what surprises me is that even the Note 3 is selling with a 5.7 screen!!)
    2. no one likes the boxy/square screen look, it works for the Q10 because it's a small phone. Any bigger and it starts to get ugly.
    3. Gesture based keyboard is revolutionary, probably one of the most innovative things to do. They will need to multi-patent the crap out of it before samsung or typo steals it
    4. specs look like to be on par/better then high end androids on a less resource hungry OS (not sure now with KitKat 4.4, since the point of that upgrade was to make it smaller and faster)
    5. Everyone loves keyboards, the Q10 just didn't have enough screen real estate..

I'm sure almost every Crackberry member is with me on all 5 of those points

I like that look...though I saw something about touch-sensitive keys so you gesture on them to change the keys (like with the touch-keyboard). OH MY GOD, YES! If they have the tactile feedback AND can change what they show on them...if they're all little touch-screens. That's so awesome!
