Whenever I try to use BlackBerry Assistant I get: "voice request wasn't understood "
I've checked in settings and everything looks OK
Am I missing something?

The first question always asked by the I T help desk 'have you tried turning it off and back on again'.

Glad to hear it worked for you, it didn't always work for my Computers!

I have atm the problem that my assistant doesn't work with my native language anymore.

I've got every time : "voice request wasn't understood"
But only when I choose German, all other languages are working directly.

The standard repair method will not work. Have tried many times, no luck.
Any suggestion?

OK. After some more test.

English US/UK- works
Spanish - works
Italien - works

German - nope
French - nope

And my voice dictation doesn't work too.

Is there any problem with the connection to the translation servers?

Have you checked under settings, language and input that you have the correct language, region and voice dictation set?

I'm not sure whether this will make any difference but best to check.

Have checked and use different settings, but it's only work with English settings.

When I set the settings to English as only language of the phone, after new start the settings are German only.
Same after soft reset. Have this since the 2876 update.

Think I should downgrade.

It is a problem...Does BB even know about this? We just got the update in France and it hasn't been corrected. I hope we don't have to wait till March or whenever to see it fixed.
