Been trying to do this for the last hour, either i'm an *****, or the guys at BB don't know how to keep things simple.

Installed BB Link, selected the pictures ( 2420 pictures ), pressed 'Sync to Desktop', finished syncing but the pictures are nowhere to be found.... Drag and drop doesn't work, and importing them into iPhoto does not work either. ( Don't know how, but that's how i did that before, something with iPhoto...)

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

On a window PC click File/pictures/My pictures and look for your Passport or what ever name you gave your Passport.

Damn....i have a mac. Let me try it on a different pc. Pics are not on SD card btw, so mass storage is not an option for me.

This aggravates me. It really can't be that difficult to transfer something as simple as a couple of pictures from your device to your desktop. A simple drag an drop option, or even a simple BB Link access point. This is even harder than iTunes.

Had the picture been in your SD card it would be just as simple as drag and drop.

This is probably the dumbest question I've ever asked on here. How do you turn on or set up devise remote access. I just presume that you could not drag and drop. Thank You

You are not the only one confused. I have been using BlackBerry Link on Mac for a couple of years on Several BB10 devices, and I still can't figure out how to properly transfer or sync files between the laptop and the devices. I have pretty much given up on Link, now trying to see whether I can manage and transfer the pictures and other data using a SD card.

If you have WiFi: system settings, storage and access, enable access using wifi, choose password. On Mac, mount your device as a network share. The share name is "media" for the internal device storage (I think "external-sdcard" for the Sdcard) , username "blackberry", and password what you chose before. Copy files from share.

Thanks for the help. I gave up after about two hours. How is it possible that stuff like this
that should be kept simple, can become a task, something SO difficult to do. Even when connected
to Blend it's not easy. I just want to drag and drop my files from my device, why the hell is this
    not possible? Argh...

In my case, i do via the following according to my preference :
    1. via wifi - no wear and tear on usb connectors too
    2. via USB - set BB as USB Mass Storage Mode
    3. via 3rd party apps - I use ESfileexplorer
    4. via Blend or Link

I have never used a mac but post #9 works for me on a pc. You need to set it up on your phone, not link.............link isn't even involved.

Have you considered using the USB to GO feature? Seems like a pretty simple solution with a bit of cash involved.

It depends on exactly what OS you have on your Mac, but for example:
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204445

And no, you most certainly do not need or want Link to be open to do it. Here's maybe a slightly better explanation from BlackBerry :

Yes. If they were on an SD you could just remove it insert into your computer. For me that's the easiest and fastest way.

For me, on Win 8.1, is it.

Plug BlackBerry USB in, open explorer, open drive z: and copy my pictures.

On Mac you can't use your "explorer" or how it named, to browse your files on your BlackBerry?

Why didn't you use Blend? You can do this even without USB cable... Easiest way to share files from/to your Mac ;-) Just drag&drop

    1. Plug your BlackBerry into a PC using the USB cable.
    2. Go to 'Computer' and find the drive that represents your BlackBerry. My PC typically maps my microSD card to 'x' and my device's internal memory to 'y'.
    3. Click on 'y' (or whatever drive letter your computer mappped to)
    4. Click on 'camera'
    5. Select photos & cut or copy them.
    6. Paste them somewhere on your PC.
