When it comes to just viewing pictures, I use the built-in picture app. When it comes to editing pictures, I mostly use Effetica Pro, which is pretty good for editing on the go. In addition I use Camera++ by the same dev to take certain pictures, it has more advanced controls compared to the standard camera app.
