    I have my eye one some available on Amazon and have had no problems buying them from Amazon in the past,

    I'm terribly afraid to try ebay,

    Does you know of any other safe/reliable places to get a brand new unlocked black USA Passport?

    Any site that is selling is the gray market ie 3rd party sellers. Even Amazon is from affiliate sellers. Ebay is fine. Just make sure the model# they are selling is appropriate for your carrier and that the seller has good reputation. Ebay is heavily slanted towards buyers as far as disputes go, any seller will complain about that.

    Ebay has some. A small pile of new white ones were on ebay too.

    Has the Passport vanished from ShopBlackBerry website. My last three purchases from Ebay went off without a hitch.

    I felt the same way you do about Ebay a few years ago but decided to give it a try and have never had an issue.

    Carphone Warehouse is another site you can check and here on CrackBerry be sure to check out the Marketplace. Purchased a Passport and a Classic from two different members here in the Marketplace.
