Guys lets see who gets the first devices from Bell! Since Bell themselves don't even know!

I have tried two bell stores so far, NO luck..

Pretty surprised at Bell. They couldn't even have demo models available for release day. I called 6 different Bell stores and most didn't even realize that the Passport was coming out today.

Bell? I am not impressed...Blackberry provides excellent pricing on the Passport, cheaper than Galaxy S5 and the likes...which I recently saw for $49.95 on a 2 yr plan...But Bell still wants $299 for the Passport?? WTF...So even when Blackberry provides attractive pricing to get Blackberry back into the hands of consumers...Bell says..."Lets charge MORE for it than other phones"...Telus is $199 right now...and truthfully with an initial price of $599 the Passport should be $49.95 on a 2 year plan at the most! Guess I have to wait a few months for the prices to drop before I get a Passport.
Once again the logic of our Canadian cell providers eludes me...

I ordered the passport from bell on launch day with a ship date of Oct 1. I called today and was told it was being packed today and would be delivered by purolator on Monday (Oct 6).

Planning on calling today, will update if I hear anything. Pretty rattled that I don't even have a clue from Bell when they will ship out.

I ordered my Passport from Bell on Sept 26. I called yesterday and they told me I should get it by Monday or Tuesday. Remains to be seen if that will be the case or not. Patiently waiting...

I unlocked online via blackberrycodesource dot com. It took the full 12 hours for my code.

Note that passport uses a nano sim card so future shop literally 'cut' my old one down to size. I'd never seen that before

I went to bell in Hillcrest mall today and they got several in today. I also got to try out a working demo at the telus store around the corner.

The solution is to just purchase one direct from BlackBerry. Unfortunately ShopBB is sold out as well.

I ordered mine October 1st and they received it 2days later. I'm in Montreal. If your lucky enough to find a store with passport in stock, it's their own initiative because it's on special order only.

My Bell store was originally under the impression the Passport would be pushed to them but found out on the 2nd that it was not the case and placed an order for 10 Passports. They said one is for me and the rest will be up for grabs as they had a ton of people asking about it. I hope that translates into arriving in store today! The store has been great to deal with and they are just as frustrated as the rest of us with how Bell corporate and BB played out this "launch". I'm in North Central BC.
