Can't you just start typing the keyword you want to search when the particular folder is open?

What's a RH menu?
And on the 'home" screen for Remember, start typing : if it exists it will show, if it doesn't it will prompt to create.
could be just be, but sounds like lack of app knowledge + lack of patience.
Though it is (unlikely) possible to be a bug,..
I'm assuming that RH means Right Hand? When I first was learning to use BB10 I was looking for a Search feature in the Remember menu and for quite a while I didn't appreciate that you could just start typing to conduct your Search.
Now it's just automatic to search this way, but not all that intuitive.

That's how the search app (now Assistant) works and how legacy universal search worked. If anything, we should be surprised it's not such across the board...
Nope, these replies are not correct. If you in an open note (unedited), and typing is added into the note. There is NO way to search within it.
See the functionality within Docs to Go...

I am with you, Trauma. Obviously you can search - funnily enough - everything in Remember from your homescreen (outside Remember) including note and task 'additional notes' as well as both task and note subjects.
However you can't search Notes from the task area nor tasks from the Notes area and you can't search the text ('additional notes') in the task or note and there is no Find Text in notes as mentioned from within the app itself.
Hope they fix this! Also somehow, don't make me tap tabs on the top of my screen to switch between tasks, notes and tags - it's not fluid for me, certainly not with the missing search functionality.
Furthermore, it seems I can only share to tasks when sharing to Remember? Why?
And while they're at it, please make the Filemanager able to search text in text files!
Ah, that felt good :-D

Exactly!
1. I have a text file with patient details - ward, theatre or procedure. Cannot search in Notes for "John" or "THR" or "Aug". Hoplessly DUMB.
2. Tasks / Notes / Tags
- Browser has it's status bar at BOTTOM of screen for Tabs / Address / Menu = smart.
- Remember has status bar at TOP = DUMB.

DUDE REALLY?
You give us as close to no freaking information on what you wanted, the issue you had, force us to guess what it was all about and then bash the effort at terying to help?
I quit this.
Thanks for this-- it was non intuitive for me... was going crazy inside of remember app trying to search on the note contents!
Yeah... TS needs a hug and a vacation! :-)

It's kind of TS's way on many posts I've noticed. Not happy unless mad at something and providing no details I guess... Hmmm... now that I think about it, not great qualities for an MD I would think.

Don't think! Look at the attached images.

Pretty sure the basis behind Notes and Tasks is not a repository for massive amounts of textual data. If you have a single Note with too much patient information, maybe you should look at transitioning that information to a docx file using Docs or something else.
Furthermore, I would think the universal search would help you pin down the actual note you're looking for. If you're already in the note where the information is, isn't the problem ALREADY solved?
Unless you have too much information in the note (aren't you "doctors" kings of shorthand?) or you have abysmally poor organizational skills (if I was charting patient notes, I'd put the relevant info in the same spot in every single note), I fail to see the issue here.
But I do see, once again, what seems to be the worlds' most trollish doctor. Why are you still using a Passport? It's obviously a terrible device for you.
