Had my BB PP for about 6 months now, and its been great up until recently.

When loading apps sometimes they take forever to load, and then when i close them, the phone completely freezes for a bout 10/15 seconds, then returns to normal. Also when clicking the home/wake button, occasionally it has a good few seconds day before the screen actually lights up.

Are there any reasons for this, my phone still has about 20GB of free space, its really starting to annoy me now and is becoming a very slow phone.

Is this common, anybody had something similar and fix it?

Seems something wrong. did you do a reset (volume up/down hold it for 15 seconds )

My apps are quick also my banking app is quicker that most Android users at my work ,they find that weird and not normal Only apps that use some time is Netflix, TV app form my cable provider becuase it loads thing from the internet first but it;s the same as on Android phones. So I have not really any problems with Apps at all with my Passport

if the reset not working maybe try to do a complet factory restore?

Ive had issues with blend running away with most of my CPU time, use the device monitor and check CPU usage to see whats causing trouble.

I've checked device monitor and I have 4% of CPU on the system and the rest are all idle, like 25 idles? If I did a factory restore how could I keep my contacts and other files, the BlackBerry desktop helper won't allow it to back up? Can I manually do it?

What do you mean by idle?

Download BlackBerry Link and there is an option to backup and restore.

That's a good thing. It means your memory is cleared and those idle apps are just sitting still until you open it and the cpu percentage will go up. does your Passport seem slow still?

Did you manage to install it yet or the app is giving you trouble?

Link seems to still give me trouble, and Passport is still just as slow, I think I may try Link on my Windows PC at work and back up there, the factory reset
