So I noticed the Blackberry logo on the back of my passport has started turning an orange/brown/red colour. I'm very careful with my devices so I don't know why this has happened. I tried cleaning it but no luck. So could it be rust?

Very bizarre. I've put my BB back in its leather case because I don't want it getting worse, especially given I have another year and a half before my contract is up.

Has anybody else experiencing EC this? Do you think it's too minor to ask for a replacement? (I pay for insurance from my provider). Or should I somehow try and find a new logo sticker to put on the back?

Hi, same on my passport, the silver coating has gone, ULL get a copper type color. No solution, it's not rust. Get a back original or good quality slim back cover which has a BlackBerry logo.

hi. it is not rust. i have the same problem. the first layer of the logo is just being removed. i dont think you can do anything against it. i can post some pictures. mine is now all reddish-brown

it looks very bad at the beginning but after some time the reddish-brown color looks nice.

while holding the device you are probably touching it with your fingers.
i even tried to buy some color to paint it over but it didn't help
