OMG I just noticed my Passport logo is rusting, a lot!

I have a 2013 z10 without issues in the logo.

Also have the rusted logo and the tilting screen btw. But I am doomed because bought at a Telus store in Vancouver and in France now.
I knew I was taking risks, a bit disappointed that this machine lasted only 6 months. Will probably go back to a phone company that have worldwide coverage and better quality.

I am just waiting till my Passport starts falling apart. My Classic already feels like it's two years old already, even though it's not even three months old. Keys clicking oddly and buttons crackling.
I check my BlackBerry logo regularly, for pieces falling out or start rusting. The build quality is just mindblowing....

never liked the hard shell but I don't find any other kind of replacement with the same design.

I had enough with the issue with the volumen up key. I bought from shopblackberry but I live in South America, imposible to ask for warrant, luckily that issue mysteriously disappeared.

Wow Ignorant , I hope you were not lazy and that you read all the comments.

In my case I only used normal hand sanitizer my 9105, z10, z30 and playbook didn't had this "feature" and had same treatment .

The logo bullets came off because sometimes Passport is hot so the glue is not useful, I saw that on the 8520.

I paid 774$ for my Passport, convinced 5 users to buy the Z30 (it Is Hard Because No One Want A ) so I am sure I did my work supporting the brand and I will still do it.

The BlackBerry logo of the unlocked passport is from a metal. (can't say if att has this too, since I don't own one)

You should be able to get the glue to rub off with a very damp rag. Or do what I do, use baby wipes.

If there gentle enough for my babies but, they should be gentle enough for the Passport. Lol

I remember that happen on my old 8520 also. The problem is they used to thin of double sided tape to hold the bullets in place. And the adhesive isn't exactly the strongest.

If mine come loose I might try modeling glue or super glue to put them back on.

Thanks for the tip, I will use baby wipe. It is also easier to take out the glue while the Passport is warm in the back.

Ditto, my 8520 lost 3 of the logo bullet within 2 months of buying. It was no big deal but just for fun I removed them all, cleaned the gunk/glue from recess area and superglued them back on. Trick is that don't overdo the superglue , apply with something very tiny like an all-pin head and wait couple of second for the glue to start solidifying, put them bullets back in with help of a forceps and apply a light pressure. Good to go in 5 mins and they stayed in till I had that phone.

I got mine replaced when I sent it back for the screen repair (glue was coming away).. subsequently I think I was doing something with a cleaning product when I noticed the black pips went a bit funny (mottled effect).. I had the red one, with black pips.. they seemed more resilient to damage than the silver ones, but still not perfect.

My Z10 has got the same rust issue, I didn't get any case with my phone so it remains open. Though I haven't ever cleaned it with anything but the cleaner that is specific for such things.

Now whether its chrome coming off, rust or whatever but is there any way to get it back in its original form?
