Try turning the brightness down. Also I had heavy drain the first day. Let it settle in a little.

It's just the OS running, let it settle it will take 2 days or so. Then battery life should pick up

Cool will do. Just going to watch and see what happens. Hopefully it settles really soon.

I'm taking the advice of the guys above and letting it settle, although for me the battery drain was down to BlackBerry blend which had been taking up 40% of my battery in the 3 hours I'd had my phone off charge. Also, my phone was hot all the time even when I wasn't using it. Soon as I closed the app in the battery screen the phone cooled down and battery is now behaving itself!

My first day was very drainy. Today's looking better. Like everyone has said, let the OS settle.

Completely correct! And Slff is right too, there is a few adjustment to be done, but with2 days on this and super heavy use it is easily a full day battery (24 hours).

Go to settings then quick settings. Tick blend. This means blend will now show in your pull down settings menu. Here you can turn on and off easily.

It's interesting that in both pictures there is no "PIM Services" - which is normally in top 3 of Battery Usage list at other models.

Second full day from 100% is going very steady. Maybe a little quicker than expected, though.

I also had a heavy drain the first day. This is day two and so far seems better. I've noticed with new phone leave it plugged in really long over night to give it a good charge, don't just unplug after it is 100%

I'm on day two and not happy with the battery. Unplugged at 1pm it is now almost 8pm and I'm at 38%. I know they say you don't need to condition batteries but should I be doing complete night charge and full discharge a few times. I'm coming from Z30 and this battery definitely is much worse so far. Everyone says they're experiencing better. Could the battery still just be settling in?

You have 70% remaining after 12 hours. Wow. Mine is done from 100% to 0% in that time. What did you do with your phone in that time? Is something wrong with my Passport?

guys and girls, make sure your NFC is turned off. I wasnt paying attention to the icon in the upper left hand corner. It was on since it came out of the box. Turned it off for the first time today and battery life today has been fantastic. I was so fascinated with it looks and form factor for the first few days hadnt paid attention.

I think I realized what it might be. I used Link to migrate my entire Z30 to my Passport including all apps. Could that be causing the drain? Should I wipe the phone and reload everything from scratch?

Try it for a few more days. It should settle down. If not maybe do a restore without migrating over data from z30
