Give it a week.

I'm finally getting killer battery life after over a week of use. It takes time for it to settle in for sure.

I have been using it and abusing it from day 1 and always noticed a better performance than from my Z30.
Currently with the heavier use, since it acts as my Z30 Hotspot and the latest OS leak, I get the following:
It is not perfect, but when you hammer the device, it is still awesome!

You might want to edit your attachment. It got your PIN on it.

Took it off charger Friday morning at 8AM, currently Saturday night 8:15PM and still 28%. 36 hours this charge LOL.

What's that usage like?? Heavy or light?
I see that power save has been turned on at like 90% or so! :)

I think it depends on how you define medium, heavy or light use...

I don't get it. When I seriously say something as a compliment, I get banned. When I have a legitimate issue, I'm trolling. You people are just hurtful.
But usage is I'd say medium. Haven't used it too much today.

Brightness set at what level? Also were you outdoors much? The screen can get quite bright outside on a sunny day from the auto brightness adjustment
Sorry. Tried to be funny, but failed. Changed my post already.
We good?

I know, I was being sarcastic.

Yeah, the first 3-5 days are always crappy for battery life. A reboot at around that point isn't a bad idea, either. Usually by then you've monkeyed around with just about every setting and app, installed and deleted some, etc.

1: Conditioning your battery has a lot to do with the battery performance. When you first power up the phone DO NOT immediately put it on the charger. Allow it to completely die on its on, use full brightness as well it not only helps to get everything out of the battery but use of the backlight as well. You want to use all of the cells in the battery, so once the battery is dead fully charge it without use and don't take off charger until it is %100. Repeat the same thing the first couple days, and by then you should get full use of the battery.
2. You have to take initiative by turning down your brightness if you haven't when around 30%, it's helps get the maximum use of the battery at that percentage of life.
3. Don't leave your battery on the charger for an extended amount of time once at %100 yes the phone does know when to stop using power but it's still dispersing power at the same time hurting the cells in the battery.
4. Use wi-fi when possible, LTE is a killer on the battery and definitely refrain from keeping apps open active frames pulls on the battery too. Silencing BBM groups and using ringtones instead of vibrate helps as well. Be sure to turn your screen timeout to the shortest amount of time to ensure power and lock your device when in pocket **** dialing can be a pain from time to time.
Hope these tips help out.

I haven't been going crazy with my Passport today, but I did use it quite a bit (still in new phone mode, so I was turning the screen on and off a lot and scrolling around). I also took a bit of time to show off the functionality to a few friends and I also listened to music through the speakers for a couple of hours while playing a board game. This battery is fantastic!

Forgot to mention the first couple of days will be a test as well, the OS definitely has to settle with the device so be patient and give it time.

This is funny but no surprise to me as the Snapdragon 801 isn't that energy efficient, yes I know BBRY put a bigger battery in the Passport but as it currently stand with all the bells and whistles running the Galaxy S5 which has the Snapdragon 805 chipset get 20 hours battery life. It's clear that BBRY's battery life number is really just a fictitious they made up.
I have gotten nearly 50hrs on my usage and still going this was after my first charge how do I take a screenshot from my passport so I can upload a pic.
16 hours off charge 8:00 pm Saturday.
Light use and overnight sleep of course, but when out in for a few beers last night had only 2 bars of 4g so not the best signal.
Battery currently sitting at 96%
It may have been stated, but two adds.
Make sure all of your accounts have a valid password. Expired accounts can drain the battery trying to reauthenticate.
Also, I find my Z30 doesn't auto dim when on long phone calls, so you may need to do that manually. Good luck.

To take a screen shot, press volume up & down simultaneously. You'll see an on screen message confirming.

I have been using the rapid wall charger to charge my passport at night since I picked up the device. I've been getting max 12-14 per day on moderate usage at 50% screen brightness with about 3-4 android apps downloaded. Last night I tried my Q10 charger (850mA) just for kicks as some on here have suggested over charging can be detrimental to battery life.
I gotta say, so far today I have notice a significant difference. Normally by now I would be down to around 80%. This is what I'm getting so far:
