I am not trying to start a war. LOL

The Passport uses the SN 801 chipset which is very power hungry. My Samsung Note 4 uses the SN 805 which is a lot more of an energy saving chipset than the SN 801. An example of this I got my Note 4 on Thursday night and fully charged it to 100%. It's now Sunday night at 11:08PM and the battery still has 23% in it.

I still have my Z10 just in case. I hope when BBRY moves to the SN 805 or the whatever Samsung is going to use at the time on their next devices the BBRY device will be something I can really use without having to worry about the battery life.

Btw, the Note 4's power settings have been at stock level since I got it.
Then you do not use the phone. Or you have the screen at minimum brightness. Not trying to start a war, but you cannot claim a 3+ day battery life with any samsung device without a picture of the battery usage screen.

My Note 3 has been on for 7:34:49 hours with 2:34:23 of screen on time. This is with about 70% brightness. Wifi on, BT on always. Only thing I turn off unless needed is GPS since wifi is close enough for most needs. Turn by turn requires GPS location. Battery is at 49%.

Does it sit in your drawer? Is your mobile network or WiFi even on?

Short answer? Your battery could be defective. Btw how often does your email push data? Mine was set to every 30 min and killed battery quick.

Try going a day without using BBM, or at least half a day. This morning do not use it at all. If it is still using a lot of battery, something is wrong with your phone. Is this a restore from another device? Have you tried a clean reset and not restoring a backup?

BBM draining battery is a common issue the only thing you could do is that whenever you're phone gets hot check the device monitor and if the problem is BBM then do a hard reset by holding down the volume buttons

You are on an unofficial OS. Could be an issue.

That is the issue but the OP doesn't seem to understand the concept that the OS he is on isn't made for the Passport. Even Micheal Clewley tweeted a few weeks back the the AT&T OS pushed out a few weeks ago was not optimised for the Passport.

So OP downgrade to the official Passport OS and see if that fixes your battery issue. If it doesn't then it's a faulty device...just make sure you do not restore any data.

I notice when I run Android games, Passport gets hot and battery just plummet. I think that's just how it is. Battery is crap if you run some Android apps which is crap.

I wish I know this sooner.
