What are you doing on your iPhone that you are not doing on the PP? for instance, do you have any games or apps that you don't have on your PP?

Are you using the phones the exact same way and with the exact same settings?

I'm not trying to say you're lying, just asking for information purposes
Exactly, because I do use mine and that guys battery claim isn't remotely what I've been experiencing day in and out since 09/19.

I can only judge from what I use. I have one gmail account set up on my 6Plus set to Push and check every hour(wish it was real push and not iOS push). I have FB, Insta, Twitter, Snapchat all set to send notifications. I am on my phone heavy throughout the day(i'm planning a vacation and sending tons of messages back and forth). Not to mention group chats and all the videos I watch on the internet(not meant as a porn joke lol) I unplugged my phone at 7 in the morning yesterday and at 12AM(17 hours) it was at 20%.

Do you ever touch it besides for checking your battery percentage?

LOL - Exactly what I was thinking - I know the iPhones get GREAT battery life if you don't use them much. Heck I've had days where I unplug from the charger at 7am and by midnight I still have 95% but it just sits on the counter collecting emails all day long as I rarely use it as a daily phone because I don't like using an iPhone as my real daily phone. My G3 also gets get decent battery life even with the 4K screen but the difference is it will actually do ok even if I use it more and not just have it sitting on the counter all day.

I just got a Passport this morning. I will be trying to port over from a Plus. I'm going to test the batteries. Let see how this goes.

    Hey guys.

I had the passport briefly. Ended up selling it. And no, I did not sell it because I hated it. I'm constantly trading/selling phones as a hobby.

I never really got to guage the battery life of the passport. I'm currently using the xperia z ultra again and the cool thing about the battery stats in android is that it tells you the actual "screen on" time. It doesn't matter if my phone can last 3 days on standby. What really matters is how much screen time I get

IOS, windows phone, bbos10 do not tell you the screen on time, only the percentage. You would think by doing simple math, you could figure out the screen on time, but that is not the case. The percentage that you see next to "display" in both android and bbos10 do not translate to screen on time. Android let's you go one step further and click on "display" and it would let you know your actual screen on time.

Example: my z ultra is currently in its 10th hour since full charge. Display says 72%. Most would guess 7.2 hours of screen on time but the actual stat is 3 hours.

Before getting back on a passport, I would like to ask a favor.... If any of you can install GSam battery monitor(or similar app. Its an android app). This should give more detailed info on battery usage and show actual screen time. I would like to know the real screen on time that some of you actually achieve on the passport on a full charge...

Which BlackBerry you are having? There's something wrong with your phone, get it replaced or fixed.

That was my whole point in putting that. Its so common for people to say "Oh the iPhone gets horrible battery life" when they are talking about a phone that was release 2,3 and sometimes 4 years ago. Just like someone could say "BB's get horrible battery life" when they might have only ever used the Z10. The iPhone 6 and 6Plus get really good battery life but since earlier models didn't people love to come in here and say "Well I've used the iPhone and the battery is terrible." The same holds true for BB10 phones that are older and have crappy batter life.

I have second Passport after some time with iPhone 6+. I have to say, that current one running last 10.3.1 leak outlasts the 6+ and that is something I wouldn't believe after the official 10.3.0 experience. There is a huge difference and PP with this version is better (not too much, but neticeable).

I have an iPhone 6 Plus & Passport. I use them virtually the same way, and have virtually all the same apps on each (those that I use).

The OS on both devices are the current defaults from the carrier & manufacturer directly, respectively.
I find it odd that with my iPhone 6 Plus, I can get up to almost 3 days battery life. Seriously...

With my Passport, I get about a day and a 1/2 battery life. I'm actually looking for more battery life from my Passport. I suppose in a way, the iPhone 6 Plus has me spoilt a little.

What's you average battery life with your Passport?
Can't confirm this - regularly get 2 days out of the Passport and have to charge the 6 plus every day. I use both for tethering - has almost not influence on the PP's battery life while it just kills the 6 Plus.

Over the past week or so, I was able to get two day use out of both the BlackBerry Passport and iPhone 6 Plus. I wonder if it is in relation to using them in the same area, i.e. same cell towers...

Just wanted to add that Swipe to Wake also comes into play with the battery life. I've gotten a couple more hours out of a single charge from both my Z10 and now Passport, by turning it off. I've just turned off Lift to Wake to see if that will also help extend a single charge. They are both great features, but between using the Stilgut case the holsters with the sleep magnet, and the power button, I don't really need those features right now.

I don't have an iPhone... never owned any of them, but as for the Passport, being able to go 16+ hours on a single charge for me, is perfect.

The FREE version works fine on my Passport.

And when 10.3.1 drops, we'll be able to unlock with a U and Return combination. Making swipe irrelevant for me.
