    My passport seems to get pretty warm and battery drains pretty fast with very little use. Can someone please help?

    Another poster told me to go into app permissions and disable the 'run in background' option. This seemed to take the drain away from the battery, and make it cooler

    Try soft reboot by pressing vol up & down until BlackBerry logo came out. I tried on my Passport & it workes like charmed.

    What's the usage like after a day of use? Can you also post a screenshot of the CPU tab when you feel there is rapid battery drain?

    I've had the passport before and I remember the battery life being so good! And ok I will post a pic when I feel the rapid battery drain. I have it charging as I type this.

    Would be helpful to see battery stats after more time -- say, when 20% remains. That we we can see potential culprits in the list.

    The CPU usage view may give some clues too.
