An update for my situation. I took out my SD card and all is back to normal. Battery drainage went from predicted 2 hours remaining to 17 hours. Also the other strange issues I was have are gone. I didn't put the SD card back in yet, but at least I know what the issue actually was. Is it possible the update would affect the card?

Very poor indeed. Autoloader is on cards. Let me know if you do it. I will then be able to sort out your phone for good, you shouldn't have any more issues with the phone.

We could spend next few days trying to nail down the problem. It could be just behind the corner or far away. That's why the perfect scenario would be to use latest autoloader for your phone from the leaks forum. You will lose all unsaved data and settings but your phone will come clean from any battery draining problems.

If you think of keeping this phone for longer that is the best exercise you can do. Straight after autoloader you will establish your baseline drain using BaSa app and since then all the battery problems should be ease to nail down and rectify forever.

Or as the user above suggested you can just try to non destructively reload the OS. Not ideal scenario but if you want to keep your settings and data you could give it a try first

BTW do you have SD card in the phone?
Remove it, reboot the phone, observe drain for few hours without the card.

There's been many, many threads about BB10 devices draining quickly after an OS update. The recommendation is to let the device "settle" after a few days. What does that mean? Well, the device is re-indexing (optimizing for later searches of) everything: email, messages, photos, contacts, etc. If you'll notice, System is way too high. It's typically < 10%. You can try rebooting (hard/soft), but it won't matter. It just needs to get through this once before it's back to normal. They more stuff you've stored on the device/SD, the longer it'll take, thus the variation on when one person's device is fast again versus someone else.

Nop, the OS 10.3.2.2639 does have battery drain issue, lots of people have reported it. Indexing lasts a day or 2 long, nothing more. I have updated my phone to that OS, a month back, am still facing the issue. I read that the latest OS with T-Mobile WiFi calling support, does improve the battery life. I'm gonna try that.

If u can make the font smaller, so that the screenshot will show more of the stuff in one page, that would be better

Wait, how do you know which OS the OP is talking about? The only reference is "latest update", which is OS 10.3.2.2789.

A/software update. B/an increased battery drain. C/amber charging light and green charged light does not work anymore. D/with charger connected,it just stops charging,i have to unplug and reconnect to complete charge. E/increased charging time, maybe six hours. F/i had no issues with my phone at all until I did this software update, and all the issues are power related, the phone is working great,no problems, its just battery life has went from 48hours to 10 hours.
