Anyone else experience shorter battery life after this most recent update? My passport went from an average of 22-24hrs to 14-15 almost immediately... thoughts?

You have to let the new version settle it. A general recommendation is to let it run and more or less drain the battery to zero.

Then give it a full charge. Do not unplug until it is fully charged.

Every update takes some time to learn your usage pattern and will adjust battery utilization over time.

You will see an awesome battery life very soon again.

The phone is file indexing, the length of time and amount of battery usage various from 1-3 days to return to normal. Your battery longevity will get better, I did notice with OS 10.3.2 the period of time elapsed was shorter than previous updates. I have never let my battery drain completely during that time period, I would not suggest that, and I have done numerous leaked OS updates, currently on Z30

What is a device doing when it settles?
Is a device really settling anyway or is it used more intensive when an update is installed?
