Not normal.... Might just be usage, as your display is the big users. On my Z10 the Display is only at 1.3%.

I've just found my phone to be a little limiting so I use my Tablet for most stuff I once used my phone for (that will change when the company lets me upgrade). If your Display is at 15% you must be using it a lot.

Shut off notification for all apps running in the background that's what I did and now the phone lasts 2 full days and do a hard reset after you change not if action schedule. It seemed to work for me.

I get 2 days, and I didn't have to turn off anything. It's his usage.

We are on the same Software and I get 2 days on a single charge, with HEAVY use. So it could be a number of things. Usage; an app could be pulling too much at idle, or that screen is from when you didn't let the phone idle so it can give you a true reading. How often are you on your phone? I'm on mine a lot, but I still get lots of screen on time and heavy use. 2 days on every single charge. Try rebooting too, at least once a week.

Since the update no amount of rebooting can fix my battery life.

My battery was amazing before, now I really miss being able to swap my battery at 4 pm like I could with my Q10.

I had a similar drain after I moved to the latest leak. I think it was OS 2480 with updated apps for passport only. I also noticed after the loading 2480 that the Amazon App Store would not open. I noticed that the random case of screen flicker stopped but the device would run hot. The system CPU usage was very high and thus the battery would drain quickly.

I corrected the problem by a factory reset to OS version 2267. Passport is back to its typical day and half to two day battery life. The random flicker problem is back but I would rather deal with that than the short battery life.

I may try to load 2480 again without the updated apps to see if problem returns.

My battery also drains lately and now it's out of a full charge and this is what I get:





7 hours left? Is that a joke? I never got 2 full days what's wrong with my phone?

About the OS I didn't upgrade as I heard there are some issues so I preferred to wait until they will get official fixed. But does the update have to do with the battery?

Same my passport only lasts a day if I actually try to. I use to be able to get a day easily and 2 if I was keeping my eye on it

I am having the same battery drain issues since updated to the official OS....... averaging about 12-hours per day. And, whenever my phone isn't being used it's face down (in save power mode).

Guys, this. Is connected with your accounts sync. Look at PIM services (which is email/contacts account).
This is mine after whole day:


compare it with what you see in your cases. 9%...

Have you tried to reboot? Hard way: pressing volume up and down at same time for 5 seconds.

Do you use gmail? As it sucks a lot.

In my case, I have outlook.com account set on push, work account set on push (activesync).
I stopped using gmail as it was f-ked up with syncing thus draining battery. Moved to outlook (there is a relocation service for that) and set gmail to autoforward all emails to outlook. One of best decisions ever.

maybe the swipe to wake up the display is a problem. I got 30-40% after a workday ( 6-17/18) after i turned it off i got somethink near 70%.

Mine finally seems to have returned to normal after about a week since the OS update. The flicker has also gone away.
