    Hi

    Can someone confirm bad volume quality on a call?
    My talking partners tell me on every call, that volume is shortly lower then normal or louder.
    My voice is going loud, then a second later he didn't hear me.
    This is permanently on a call. Blackberry is throttling volume automatically on a call.

    Is it an hardware problem or software?

    In the german forum we discuss the same problem Callvolume is like a wave. After update my Passport with the leaked firmware 10.3.1.1016 (official at&t?) the problem seems to be fixed.

    thank you for your reply, so I can suppose that it is a software issue
    I was about to send back my PP thinking that it can be an harware issue lol.

    Did you try to do a call outside? The problem with the "old" firmware is only in silent conditions e.g. at home/inside. Outside call quality is superb. With the leaked fw the quality is perfekt in both condition.

    Just have to upgrade to 10.3.1.1016 with the autoloader right ? Sorry for the question, I'm coming from android so i feel lost in BB world lol

    Ok I have upgrade to 10.3.1.1016 , the problem seems fix and no other bug so far

    That happen to you using the microphone of the mobile phone ? Or using some bluetooth headset ?
    Because i have this problem as i post here, on a post with the subject "Bluetooth Problem on the Headset Microphone"
