    i tried this way and was so good to use my contact to other device....
    i added hotmail account on my device then copy contants to this account and add this account on the other passport device and copy contact from hotmail account to local contact.. and working good..

    Why convert then to local? Keep them synced to the cloud.

    I concur. I have not used the local contacts since getting an Outlook.com (aka hotmail replacement) account. Furthermore, Microsoft upgraded the back end to run on Exchange, so you get a lot of the same features and capabilities in the corporate environment. That means you can sync calendar and tasks as well across multiple devices and platforms. This integration with BlackBerry Hub (BB10 and Android) is the primary reason for us leaving Yahoo in the background.
