Okey, so this is awkward.. never had scratches in 2 years of use on my Z10. But now, after two months of using my Gorilla Glass Passport is scratched. And no, i didn't use it wrong or something like that.

Anybody experiencing the same? Guess ill have to use a case or screenprotector after all

I have not had any good experiences with Gorilla glass. I don't think it's any more special than any other glass.

I think Gorilla glass is supposed to be break proof, not scratch proof. Although it certainly does break.

I love the feeling of naked glass but I would never chance scratches/cracks on a $500+ smartphone. Phones are continuously subjected to keys, rings, money, drops, dirt in pockets, dust, etc....

To not put a protector on is, imo, a huge mistake.

I think if you put a protector on now it will make those scratches "disappear".

Why do people think gorilla glass is made of the hardest materials? It's glass people and glass is made out of sand! So sand can scratch any glass! And I you think gorilla glass 4 will fix this "problem" than you are wrong since my note was prone to scratches as well.

Gorilla glass is just a tougher glass. Still glass. There are many screen protectors guarantee that they can "heal" glass by covering them up. I think it was invisiguard or something like that? Zagg? Something.

Gorilla Glass is scratch resistant but not scratch proof. The only way to completely protect against scratches is to put a screen protector on.

I'm coming from a galaxy s3 which I had for 2 1/2 years and never had anything on it... case or screen protector... never a scratch. Hopefully the same will happen with this phone... very impressed so far with build quality.

Until sapphire displays are made/mainstream most screens will get scratched pretty easily (micro-scratches).

I've got a couple of micro-scratches on my Passport's screen after about 5 months of using it without a screen protector. Did it bother me at first? Yes. Does it still bother me? No. Passport, Gorilla Glass, anything else that is not a diamond (or sapphire, maybe) is going to be scratched sooner or later if you don't baby-sit it like something tremendously precious. But, hey, it's just a smartphone, a tool, that is supposed to be used. So, get over it and keep using your device freely. Anyways, Passport 2 is coming soon. ))))))
