37.109 to be exact. First impression was that that's probably on the 'old' end for smartphone users. Purely guesswork, but would assume your typical iPhone user to be in the 25-35 range, while Android would be in the <30 range.

I didn't include posters that hadn't yet gotten their passport, were planning on buying one, gave their years in animal ages, or via some other vague reference that I couldn't be bothered to figure out.

174 of you were included in this calculation. .

    Not that I'm unhappy.

But this makes me feel old.

But as long as I have a phone I like, I guess.

A little younger than I would have thought, but I was surprised on another thread, to learn the number of <25 yo that had the phone. I think the quality an technology of the PP is showing with the general public.

It's safe to say that this is an adult's phone (let the flaming commence?)

Nice to have statistics to back up a point. I'm sure the Z30's userbase is ~5 years younger. And the Classic's will be ~2 years older.

Young people nowadays don't know what is BlackBerry. All they know was iPhone, IOS, Android and the others. They like updates, but they only look at what are the new features! They do not know the OS behind the device needs constant improvements, bugs fixes, security patch instead of new fancy features. And they look at me why would you choose a BlackBerry....? I would just simply say it is a phone designed for productivity... for work, for reliability and again it's serious in work. I can get email notifications, as well as other emails and information faster and more effective than those in Android, IOS and Windows. BlackBerry should pattern up its hub design.

Ya I agree with you. They would then say I can type fast and also without looking at the screen. Hah! Come on kids.. you do not know the feelings that keyboard can give you. I remember the time when I use Nokia 3310 T9 dictionary prediction. It was a very good features.. I like the precise feeling that those keyboard can offer, press and feel it!

I find more and more "older" folk using iPhone's that are handmedowns from their younger family members. When I say older I mean late 50s and beyond (i.e. Older than the average age given here). Those in their 30s and 40s are likely still making direct buying choices about their mobile devices (or dictated by their work place).
