Is there any way to disable the auto brightness on the Passport? I searched and saw a few threads on this but no definitive answer.

The screen looks great when you put it right in front of a light but it looks dull and dark otherwise. I want to keep it truly on it's brightest level but can't figure out a way to do it.

It's a long asked for feature.... but not there is no setting to control it or even just turn it off.
