I have had my PP for over a couple years and have no problems. About two months ago I downloaded WhatsApp. Just this past week videos sent thru the app played without audio; previously they worked fine. When I play videos that are saved to the phone, apparently WhatsApp does that for me, the only way I get audio with the video is by selecting edit. Can anyone provide a solution to restore the audio? Thank you.

Are you sure that was the cause? Or did something else happen around the same time?

Can you try removing WhatsApp and see if that does anything? I don't see why WhatsApp would impact you playing videos (or the audio within it).

I was going to say for you to test the audio through BBVE, but it sounds like you have audio, but it is through the method you stated.

Thank you. Apparently the problem had to do with the bluetooth. Once I turned it off the audio was fine. Incidentally, the bluetooth device was turned off. Thank you for helping.
