Is anyone having trouble with audio boost? At times, using the music or Spotify app, I can't get the Audio Boost to turn on (volume slider turns red in settings), and even after it does, I can't really hear any difference in the audio.

Also besides that, is there anyway to map Spotify's audio controls to the side volume rockers? It'd be nice to be able to mute Spotify with a press of a button.

If you are running os 10.3.1 you can use the audio controls

The "Audio boost" feature only works when you have a headset plugged in to the headset jack.

I have tried it using my cars aux port and a pair of Bose headphones and still no increase or just a very minor increase.

I'm having the same issue. I have to turn the car audio almost to max to get a decent level of sound. I use the same cable and another device and the volume is much louder....

Ok, just tried it with the official BB Headphones that came with my passport, and I got the boost to work. on my Sony Noise cancelling ones, nothing.
