I totally read that as pornstars.com. Oops.

Greetings Lucky Passport Owners! I've been leading this Inquiry for a year now....
Can SOMEONE with a Passport (and obviously 10.3) please install MS OneNote from the Amazon AppStore and see if you can get past the setup screens?? If so, this piece of information will FINALLY give us options other than Evernote! Thank you in advance!!!
Multiple input languages work, configure them in settings just as on any other BB10 device.
It's not coming up on the Amazon AppStore. I tried it using Snap and while it installed fine, it still wouldn't let me sign in. :-(
Chinese and Arabic for sure, Thai might be one of the options I see, unless that's Cambodian or Hindi, I am not sure offhand. Choose in language and input settings. BlackBerry web site must have a complete list of supported languages somewhere.
I am chilling in bed with it right now. (Damn cold.) I browse one hand, use two to type.
Yes the speakers are good, louder than Z30. I use them to listen to audiobooks.
First, thanks for the incredibly quick response and effort!!
As for the compatibility, this is very upsetting that BB has worked so hard on the Android Runtime, but yet such an important and popular app such as MS Onenote STILL does not work?! BB's, and especially the Passport, are meant to excel in the Productivity and Enterprise sectors, yet one of the most widely used software suite apps is not working or supported yet?? I just don't get it....
BTW, I just checked again, it is on the Amazon Appstore if you search for "Onenote"... strange that it didn't come up for you. I now believe the Amazon Appstore that comes installed with 10.3 is NOT the same as the Appstore that the Android users get. Meaning the BB users have even less apps available (and BB KNOWS that Onenote does not work!).
That will depend on why setup cannot be completed. I do not use OneNote myself so I cannot speculate.
ok guys, here's the question:
Lloyds banking app from google (snap) or 1mobile (it is not on Amazon) - can you run the app? it crashes and exits after launch on Z10 and lates 10.3 leak..
The setup actually does complete, it's after you startup the app, it then goes through 2 or 3 simple setup screens, but when it gets to the part where it tries to connect to the internet to register, it just gets stuck there.

I agree...I'm surprised that there hasn't been a way figured out to get this app to work. Now that I'm getting familiar with its capabilities, I'm thinking the app would be perfect on BB10, too!
I updated the Appstore app (the one installed on the Passport needed updating) and still no luck finding it. Strange.... I got to setup step 2 or 3 on my Z30 with 10.2.x.x but didn't try installing it again after loading a 10.3 leak on the Z30.
Maybe one day, a workaround will be found to bring OneNote to BB10....
I use facebook, twitter & linked in a lot for work. I just wondering is there any improvements to native apps with 10.3 (especially sharing media) & whether you can now have more then one facebook and twitter account set in Blackberry Hub?
I also have a further two questions:
1. Is Adobe Flash still supported out of the box?
2. Are there shortkey/ convenience functions? If yes, how easy are they to set up.
Flash is still around, yes.

Has anyone checked to see if inductive charging works on the Passport? I know there were some rumours it would at least appear on some of the variants of the device. Really interested in that if it does exist and of course the AT&T LTE support as well as much-improved camera. Not so sure about the physical keyboard (although I love you can swipe on it) or the screen aspect ratio compared to the Z30.
Question:
When swiping left across the keyboard itself to delete a word you just typed (in email, doc, etc), if you swipe with two (or three) fingers, will it delete two (or three) words (as with touchscreen devices like z10)?
I saw in a demo it will delete one with one finger swipe, just wondering if they carried this up from other 10 devices.

Still just one word per swipe. Better off staggering swipes to get rid of many things.

Thank you. So, is staggering swipes then the quickest way to delete text?
Seems if pp can be a text and doc heavy-use device there would be as good, if not better, way to delete text than older 10 devices.

Or use shift + drag your finger around the keyboard/screen to move the select box.
Or press and hold a block of text to expand the selection (akin to repeated clicks in Word).

Thanks again, Thurask.
Swiping with two or three fingers is just SO convenient for deleting not so many words. So that convenience hasn't really been matched in another manner, eh?

waiting for the blackberry.com to restock getting one for sure ... cant wait [BOX][/BOX]
Although, what sort of grip would leave one with three free fingers while keeping the Passport stable? :)

Ahh, ok then, good point!
So...do you find pp overall faster, same, or slower in, say, typing up and editing an email, relative to, say, z10?
