Are you able to double tap the keyboard to bring out the cursor bubble when typing out and editing a reply here on crackberry? I need to know if it's possible on web forms before getting the passport. I'm assuming this way is a lot faster than tapping and holding to bring out the draggable cursors on a iPhones.

I suppose, but it's really not bad at all, though no one could argue that it's the same as watching video on the S5 or Note. Moreover, if you use an app like FastTube, there's a button to crop and zoom the video to full screen, which is often just what you want.

WhatsApp is available as a Native app, and i would say its better than the android and iOS version(i have both iphone and android), and for Skype, Viber and Telegram, the android apps are available, which u can either download using Snap(Google PlayStore Client for BB10) or Amazon Market or from the Web (Skype is there on BlackBerry World too, but not the latest version, so its better u download from Snap)

Question: Received my new Passport. I had backed up (full) my Q10 some hours before getting the Passport. If I do a restore to the Passport will it overwrite OS 10.3 on the Passport with 10.2 that's on the Q10?

My apologies if this has been asked, I did a quick search of the thread for "row" and found nothing.

I am wondering how exactly the rows on the screen work. For the fourth row (mostly punctuation), how do you select one of them, is it only by actually tapping it? I know for the predicted words you can swipe on the keyboard to select it and not sure if there is something similar for that. Also, when you swipe down and get the other 3 rows for numbers, characters, etc, how do you select those? I see a number with a little A in it for example, does this mean you can hit A and get the equivalent number?

2. Can you use keyboard shortcuts and are there any new ones added in 10.3 like J/K/I in email list or reading screen? (Next Unread/Previous Unread/File/etc..)
3. Can you wake the phone by swiping up in keyboard or do you have to swipe on screen?
4. How fast is rotation in Android apps? I am asking this because it's painfully slow in Z30 with latest official 10.2 release.
5. Do you still need modified google services in order to run most android apps loaded from Snap? Like Maps, Youtube, etc.. as well as many other apps that keep asking for google services?
6. Has anyone tried connecting to 802.11ac router and is it really fast or bottlenecked by the on-board components like previous Blackberries? Super fast internet but browser takes a while to load due to processor/memory/etc..
7. Can you finally browse the video without having to re-buffer the whole thing? (When you seek within already buffered part of the video, 10.2 rebuffers the whole thing, such a waste)
8. Did anybody try Wallpaper Changer HD app on 1:1 screen?

Is there a good SSH client that works well on the Passport? I haven't had a BB for years, and am currently heavily invested in the iOS "ecosystem", but I just don't know about the iPhone 6. I actually have a passport on order with Amazon (out of stock currently) and am considering the switch back to BB.

I'm curious do you think the app devs will also update their apps to be passport compatible in the google play store so us android users who have money invested in that app store can download said apps and sideload em onto our devices, ?? i kinda don't wanna rebuy all my apps

Not until they hear from enough of their users that they want Passport support. And even then an Amazon Appstore version would need to be purchased again anyway.
My advice is: send them a feedback message asking for support directly. Show them some info on the Passport and where applicable mention that there is no good alternative for their app available.

That is how I got Manga Rock to support Amazon Apps and Printershare to support the Passport.
